Healthy Peanut Butter Balls
Make healthy peanut butter balls with just 5 simple ingredients: peanut butter, oats, dates, chocolate and coconut oil! You do not need powdered sugar or butter. These peanut butter balls are milk-free, gluten-free and vegan!
We are all about the holidays this weekend. Wrapping, baking, family and celebration… that sums you up well. We have been chasing Christmas carols, traveling to visit the family and all enjoying the season. Yesterday I spent the afternoon baking Christmas cakes with my nanny, sister and her daughters. It is a tradition and something I look forward to every year. We baked and delivered sweets to our Christmas family at my aunt and uncle's house, which is always a good time.

Ever since I was a child my favorite delicacies for the holidays have always been babysitter cookies, baked cookies and peanut butter balls. Can you tell I love all things peanut butter and chocolate?
After checking out the little recipe I finally came up with a recipe for healthy chocolate butter balls. They taste just like the ones I liked when I was growing up, only vegan, gluten-free, sweetened every day and only need five ingredients! Basically they are like my eggs in peanut butter, but they are in the form of a ball instead of an egg.
Everyone who tried them, including Isaac, said, “Oh yum! They are like cups of peanut butter. ”
So if you need another holiday management recipe, these balls should be added to your list. And if you take them to a party, I highly recommend doubling the recipe because it will go away quickly, trust me!

How to Make Healthy Peanut Butter Balls
Process - Start by adding dates to your food processor and beat vigorously until the days are well spent and build a sticky ball. Add the oats and beat a few times until combined. Add the peanut butter and grind until combined.
Make balls - Take out 1 tablespoon of dough at a time and roll into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate peanut butter balls until they are firm - this takes a few hours so I usually let them sit all night!
Sprinkle with chocolate - After your peanut butter balls thicken, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small safe microwave bowl. Microwave in 30 increments until the chocolate melts. Sprinkle cold balls on melted chocolate and roll until covered. Return to parchment paper and return to refrigerator until chocolate is set.
How to Store Chocolate Butter Balls
Store peanut butter balls covered in chocolate in an airtight container in the refrigerator or refrigerator until you are ready to enjoy! They should remain in the refrigerator for up to a week until a month in the refrigerator.
